I’m Lauren Nickel — an event professional, designer, creative producer, and artist with a background that lives at the intersection of experiences, visuals, music, and people.

My career began in graphic design and business marketing, but quickly expanded into large-scale event production, where I found a passion for turning ideas into real-world experiences. Over the years, I’ve worked across corporate and destination events, private experiences, nightlife, branded activations, creative projects, and live entertainment — managing everything from vendors, venues, budgets, timelines, and logistics to branding, visual design, entertainment, and on-site execution.

What makes my work unique is that I naturally move between the creative and operational sides of a project. I can develop the visual identity, design the materials, build the website, coordinate the vendors, curate the entertainment, and help bring the entire experience to life.

That same mindset led me to create eLOvate, my independent electronic music and creative project. Through eLOvate, I produce original music, perform at festivals and venues, develop branding and digital content, curate artist lineups, collaborate with venues and collectives, and create my own pop-ups and experiential events. It has become another extension of how I work: combining creativity, strategy, production, and experience design into something people can actually feel.

Alongside events and music, I continue to work across graphic design, branding, photography, video, website design, and creative direction, giving me the ability to see a project from multiple perspectives rather than through one discipline alone.

Ultimately, I’m most energized by projects where I can take an idea — whether it starts as a sketch, a brand, an event concept, a song, or simply a vision — and help turn it into an experience that feels intentional, memorable, and distinctly its own.
